What Is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program that delivers elite fitness for everyone. CrossFit Sirius’s classes and private coaching utilize the proven CrossFit training methodology developed by renowned Coach Greg Glassman, who designed the program after spending most of his life coaching, training, and working with athletes of all ages and abilities. He discovered that high level fitness is not limited to high level athletes.

CrossFit workouts will get you as close as possible to your physical potential by utilizing constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensity. Instead of wasting time using the over-sized single joint machines found in most “conventional” globo gyms, you will learn how to safely and efficiently maximize your body’s potential by performing compound functional movements like running, jumping, squatting, pushing, pressing, and lifting-movements we do in some capacity in our everyday lives. These movements will be performed using your body and barbells, kettle bells, dumbbells, medicine balls, gymnastics rings, and pull-up bars. Combining these movements under various loads with high intensity under our excellent programming will yield a level of fitness most believe to be unattainable.

Our workouts and classes are universally scalable, meaning that anyone from  a high level athlete to someone completely new to fitness can complete the same workout side by side with differences in load and intensity. Our gym and program is open to everyone! Our programming is designed to improve your capacity in all of the ten recognized fitness domains: cardio-respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. The result is outstanding physical fitness, mental fortitude, and health.

Is CrossFit Sirius right for me?

If you are someone who:

  • is looking to get in shape but can’t stomach “conventional”  gyms
  • is bored with or plateaued on a traditional exercise regimen
  • thinks you don’t have time to workout or,
  • just wants to feel comfortable and look good in a bathing suit

Then yes, CrossFit Sirius is perfect for you. Every workout is different and will always be done in under an hour. You will be coached by our professional, devoted, and experienced team who not only teach the movements, but also instruct clients on how to strategize and derive lessons with applications to mental well-being and success in all life pursuits. Getting Started at CrossFit Sirius

Where you start will depend on your current fitness level and experience with foundational movements. CrossFit Sirius has high movement standards and wants everyone to safely succeed. If you are well conditioned and can demonstrate proficiency in foundational compound functional movements, then you can meet with one of our coaches and test into our regular classes.

Intro to CrossFit

$100 5 Sessions
New to CrossFit we offer our Fundamentals/skills program which can be done in a class setting or one on one with a coach. The program consists of 5 group classes or 3 one hour private sessions and will teach you the basics and lay the foundation for you to succeed in regular classes.

It also allows us to get to know you so we can best recommend how you should proceed.

Private Coaching

$60 per 1 Hour session
Our private coaching program is designed to help those with special circumstances succeed. The following examples will give you an ideal of whether or not private coaching is the best place for you to start:

  • -lingering injuries
  • -pregnant or just had a baby (congrats!!!)
  • -need extra accountability
  • -been very sedentary for a long period of time
  • -want a highly customized training protocol
