Workout of the Day,

My Salute to America’s past Presidents:

4 Rounds for total reps, rest 1:00 after each full round

  • 1:00 of hang power cleans (95,65)
  • 1:00 of handstand push-ups, or scale with push-presses using your pwr clean bar  (95,65)
  • 1:00 sit-ups
  • 1:00 burpees
  • 1:00 REST

Intention: there are a few different strategies athletes may use to maximize the rep count. It will feel similar to “Fight Gone Bad”. The sit-up minute can be used as active recovery so that intensity can be maximized during the burpee minute. The general intention is for you to hold back a little throughout the first round.  Use your total rep count as a goal to get as close as possible to during the following rounds. Setting a bold ascending rep/round target is another way to approach this WOD. Enjoy!
