Coach Dan has been involved with CrossFit since 2007. After years of competing in various sports including competitive soccer, track and field, and football, Dan successfully earned a BA in History and Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara followed by a Master of Sciences from the London School of Economics. Dan left law school to pursue his passion for fitness by becoming a certified personal trainer. Dan saw firsthand how many trainers employ antiquated bodybuilding methods to train their clients with little success. His search for a universal and successful training methodology and program ended when he found CrossFit. Coach Dan spent 3 years training and studying under some of the best CrossFit coaches and movement specialists in the heart of where CrossFit started, Northern California. He has not looked back since and absolutely loves coaching and training, especially those new to CrossFit and fitness.

Coach Kasey capitalized on his genetic potential for athleticism through hard work and dedication, making him a very successful football player and track athlete. Kasey lettered in 4 track and field events as a freshman at the University of Texas at Tyler. He earned his Bachelor of Sciences in Kinesiology and is currently a candidate for his Doctorate of Chiropractics. Coach Kasey has managed and run numerous athletic departments and programs. He is very passionate about training kids and young athletes. Kasey also specializes in Sports Performance training and high intensity interval training. When not training or managing CrossFit Sirius, Kasey can be found out on a Texas lake bass fishing.

Coach Franco has been an athlete her entire life. She played softball for many years and was also the team captain of her high school wrestling team. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Advertising, a career move brought her to Dallas. Soon thereafter that she stumbled across her first CrossFit class and fell in love. CrossFit became her getaway from daily stresses, her confidence booster & her track to a healthy lifestyle. She loves sharing this feeling with others, teaching people that their body is capable of amazing things & that we all have the power to achieve our goals, whatever they may be.

Coach Eric started Crossfiting after his college wrestling team’s funding was cut and he needed another workout to constantly push his limits. He initially feel in love with the heavier weights and sprints of Crossfit Football and got his L1 certification in 2013 while living in Detroit. He holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering and works for Texas Instruments when not training or coaching at Crossfit Sirius. Eric feels there is nothing more satisfying than watching athletes and clients achieve more than they ever thought possible.

Carina has been involved with CrossFit since 2013. After playing basketball and running cross country in undergrad, Carina wanted another competitive outlet when her college career ended. She used CrossFit as a stress reliever while she pursued her Masters of Science in Nutrition and Masters of Science in Medical Research in Oregon. It was during this time that she realized her true passion for combining nutrition and athletics, which is what she aims to do as a nutritionist/personal chef and coach back here in Dallas. She also coaches high school basketball in her free time. When she’s not in the gym or working, you can find her in the kitchen cooking or walking her sidekick pup, Oliver.
