Our mission at CrossFit Sirius is to deliver sustainable high-level fitness to everyone by providing excellent and caring coaching in a welcoming and safe environment to a diverse community, thereby fostering success beyond our members’ expectations.

Dan Klein (Head Coach)

CrossFit L1 Coach, CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting

Coach Dan has been involved with CrossFit since 2007. After years of competing in various sports including competitive soccer, track and field, and football, Dan successfully earned a BA in History and Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara followed by a Master of Sciences from the London School of Economics. It was during his first semester of Law School that Dan decided to cultivate his passion for fitness by becoming a personal trainer. Dan saw firsthand how many trainers use antiquated bodybuilding methods to train their clients with little success. His search for a universal and successful training program ended when he found CrossFit. Coach Dan has not looked back since! He absolutely loves coaching and training, especially those new to CrossFit and fitness.

Kasey Calbow (Director of Training)

CPT American Council of Exercise

Coach Kasey capitalized on his genetic potential for athleticism through hard work and dedication, making him a very successful football player and track athlete. Kasey lettered in 4 track and field events as a freshman at the University of Texas at Tyler. He earned his Bachelor of Sciences in Kinesiology and is currently a candidate for his Doctorate of Chiropractics. Coach Kasey has managed and run numerous athletic departments and programs. He is very passionate about training kids and young athletes. When not training or managing CrossFit Sirius, Kasey can be found out on a Texas lake bass fishing.

Tricia Holzman (Coach/Trainer)

CrossFit Level 1, Pre and Post Natal Fitness Specialist

Coach Trish, originally from New York, recently moved to Dallas from Hawaii, where she lived for 11 years and owned her own business as a fitness instructor (with a emphasis on pre and post natal training). Trish found Crossfit in 2012, after becoming bored with her typical daily workouts. She craved more of a challenge – and she wanted to lift heavy weights. Once she joined, she automatically fell in love, and knew she needed to become a coach. She became Level I certified in Hawaii and is still stoked she got to meet Camille Leblanc-Bazinet and Dave Lipson. Trish loves to see people discover their own potential when it comes to their fitness goals and is always willing to do what it takes to help them get there. Trish also really loves bacon and the backsquat, and has been known to joke inappropriately in bios and in life.

Jon Nicholson (Coach/Trainer)

CrossFit L1 Coach, CPT World Instructor Training Schools

Coach Jon battled years of chronic stomach surgeries and pain but never lost sight of his potential. After finally being medically cleared to train, Jon found CrossFit and has worked diligently to achieve his goal of competing in the sport of CrossFit. Jon is also an excellent bowler.
